SS26

I can’t stop thinking about Mugler.

Miguel Castro Freitas had one of the biggest jobs this season, taking over the house and somehow making it feel familiar without just copying what came before.

It definitely felt less in-your-face than recent Mugler. More tailored, more sculpted, a bit quieter, but still unmistakably Mugler. I actually liked that. It felt confident enough not to rely on shock value every five seconds.

It’s probably my favourite collection from SS26 so far.

What did everyone else think? Did you prefer this new direction, or are you missing the Casey Cadwallader era?

AW26 is round the corner. Who’s your favourite?
